Boys Golf Fundraiser

We have 1 main fundraiser for both Boys golf program. It will be held on April 29th at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club.

2019 Boys Season Player #'s
We have 29 players this season. We did not make any cuts based on feedback from most parents.
In matches we play 7, and count 5. At home all players on the team play. The top 7 scores will play in the next match. If its at home again all players play for a chance to be top 7 in the next match. Only 7 players travel. If we happen to have a couple away matches in a row it will still be those 7 players. The players that are not playing in the away matches should be practicing on their own getting ready to earn a spot in the top 7 once we have the next home match.
Lockers/ Transportation
We do have some lockers at JSerra for bag storage. Your sons coach will be able to provide him with a locker if needed. We will probably have to share locker space but we will make it work.
Transportation will be provided for matches with school vans. No transportation is provided for after school practices.
On match days when the team needs to be dismissed early from class an email will go out from the athletic department to the teachers. Students are responsible for communicating with their teachers about what school they will miss! Players will be provided information on what time and what to wear from your coach.
Golf Bags
The first year on the team we provide a golf bag with your sons name on it. We offer the opportunity to get a new bag each year at cost of the bag. If your son is a returner and wants a new bag please e-mail bschippel@pga.com.
Spectators/ Carts for Matches
Each course is different as far as allowing or not allowing spectators to watch matches. If you are interested in watching your son compete in a golf match, please check with the course to see what they allow, and what the cart fee will be.
