Brian Schippel
Director of Golf
Head Coach
Brian is a Class A PGA Golf Professional. Originally hailing from Sandusky, Ohio, Brian grew up in Huntington Beach, California, where he picked up a golf club at the age of 11. He immediately fell in love with the game of golf and has been active in the sport since. Brian led his high school golf team to four league titles throughout his four years. His involvement with golf did not end with high school. After earning his class A in 2003. it did not take Brian long to become a respected professional in the industry. Serving as Head Golf Professional at a prominent Orange County golf facility, Brian has developed a simple, relaxed style of teaching; with a blend of methods from studying the great instructors of our era. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the game of golf will inspire students to accomplish individual goals.
Brian has been teaching at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club since it opened July of 2004. He has built the Junior Performance Program catering to junior golfers from ages 3 to 17. It has quickly become the best junior instructional program in the area.
In January of 2006, Brian was asked to start a golf program for JSerra Catholic High School. He currently is the Head Golf Coach for both the Boys and Girls golf teams.

Craig Ackermann
JV Gold Coach
Craig has a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University and is one of the Assistant Professionals at Newport Beach Country Club. He played collegiately at Gannon University and on the Nike Tour in the early 90’s. He helped spearhead the Boys Golf Program at Calvary Chapel HS in Costa Mesa, CA. Craig is a TaylorMade Staff professional and has studied the golf swing, the equipment involved and the way the body functions during the swing. He is also possesses club fitting certifications from Ping and Callaway.

Jentry Barton
Frosh/Soph Coach
Strength & Conditioning and Mental Coach
Jentry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from BYU-Idaho, she has a deep understanding of child development and the importance of athletics in developing bodies and minds. She is ACE certified, Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 certified, and USKG Certified.
She has worked with, and trained children ages 5-18 at the Y.M.C.A, Pump it Up, and Frog’s Fitness Club One in Encinitas, California. She designed programs, charted improvement and managed the programs for these corporations to help children grow in their athletic abilities, as well as mental stamina within their desired sport by building confidence.
Jentry has also worked with different levels and all ages looking to improve their golf game as well as their overall health and wellness. She has helped clients lose weight, improve their balance and posture, and increase their flexibility and stamina. Jentry has always had a passion for fitness, being involved in many sports including; golf, volleyball, basketball, surfing, and running. She is constantly looking for ways to learn, improve and help those she works with see the benefit of Fitness, and Healthy Living.

David Rose
JV Crimson Coach
David Rose started his golfing career in 1983 as an amateur golfer where he played for one year. In 1984, he turned pro and joined the NGA mini tour playing for several years. He then played on several mini tours around the country. With success in winning several tournaments, David proceeded to play in the attempt of obtaining a PGA touring card. He has set course records and has been sought after to play in many charity and celebrity events. During this time, David continued to work in the field and has held several positions as Golf Instructor, Driving Range Instructor for Juniors and Seniors as well he was a superintendent. His passion continues to be working in the Golf field teaching and playing the sport that he loves.
